About Middleton Physio

About Us

Calum founded Middleton Physio in November 2025 to offer more and raise the standard of care. Our focus is on delivering lasting results, helping people go from pain to a healthier, stronger and more confident version of themselves. 

Based in Shepshed, Loughborough, we offer both in-person and online physiotherapy, making expert care accessible wherever you are. Our approach is for everyone, regardless of age, fitness level or background. Whatever your goal, we support you and work with you every step of the way. 

Meet Calum

Calum holds First Class Honours degrees in Sport and Exercise Science (Nottingham Trent University) and Physiotherapy (University of Leicester). He has five years of experience specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy across the NHS, sport, and private practice. 

Calum is an avid gym-goer and long-distance runner with a love for football. He combines his scientific expertise and personal experience overcoming injuries, including an ACL tear, bone stress injury and shoulder issues, to deliver empathetic evidence-based care. Over his career, he has helped thousands of people recover, perform better, and enjoy life fully, and is deeply committed to helping you do the same.

Meet Adam

Adam holds an Honours degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Winchester and has over five years’ experience across the NHS and private practice, including in a Team Lead role. He also works with elite athletes at Loughborough University, supporting them during training and matchdays.

Adam brings a versatile skillset, covering everything from acute injury assessment and treatment to complex pain management. Combined with his background as a former high-level rugby player, he thrives on helping clients return to activities that matter most to them. Whether it’s sport, work, or everyday life, he leaves no stone unturned in supporting your recovery.
